Working Area

FIL-OZ occupies around 400 square meters of working area and adequate number of propeller benches and stands large enough to accomodate seven different propellers simultaneously.

Work flow

Our rooms are arranged to have a smooth work flow. We have NDT/NDI room, Final inspection room, Machining room, Cold rolling room, ECI and Comparator room, Shot peening & Blasting room, Sanding room and Painting room on the ground.

Non Destructive Inspection/Test (NDI/NDT) room

Bench MPI equipment specifically mandated by the manufacturer to use in
inspection of cracks.

Comparator & Eddy Current Inspection room

Cold Rolling room

Cold Rolling procedures is a mandatory procedure of Hartzell . All blade shanks must undergo cold rolling during overhaul.

Shot Peening & Blasting room

Complete set of shot peening and blasting equipment necessary for the proper overhaul of propellers.

Painting room

Blade Balancer

Use to initially balance blades from 2 bladed to 5
bladed propeller.

Propeller Governor Overhauling room

Propeller Governor Equipment for overhaul and test of governors.
